Dear Reader!
Lot of things can be heard about drugs.
Sometimes they are positioned cleverly as something „needed, even useful”, and so people tend to believe that afterall there is no problem with them…
But there is.
When wise and healthy people become moral and physical wrecks; when relationships and families get ruined because a person looses control over his acts; and when what is dicey is not when someone is on drugs but if someone is not using grass, I think there is something to talk about.
Drugs ARE a problem that must be paid attention to, because no one can think that it is good if we run away from problems to a dream world, or if we live even just for one hour without knowing what we are doing.
You, who are reading this letter, probably agree that we must stop the spreading of drugs.
And probably the question comes to your mind „But what can I do?”
What can one man do against such a big problem?
This movement proves what you can do as in 2002 it all began with the aiding intention of one man and some excited Scientologists and by today it has grownto be the largest programme in Hungary.
The goal of this movement is to provide possibility for anyone to do something to stop the spreading of drugs.
If you join with your signature to those who say ’No’ to drugs, or run with us symbolically few metres, or give an enlightening booklet to someone, or simply knowingly set a good example, you have already done something!
Even if it seems to be so little there is always something that can be done about it.
And perhaps this is why this movement has become the largest movement against drugs in the country.
You are welcomed to surf on this site, that introduces the activities and programs of the ’Together for a Drug-free Hungary’ movement, especially the’Marathon for a Drug-free Hungary’ organized by the movement, to you.
Read the annual summaries about the marathons, enjoy the photos, look through the list of the Patrons and conceptional supporters, find your own settlement on the route, read about the recent results of surveys, and don’t forget to make your own stand point before leaving the site!
I’m looking forward to meeting you at one of our programs.
Best regards:
